I repsume its supposed to work ortherwise why woule Epson present any linux code.
I have tried fedora, LE and orig and cannot get the SW to detect my scanner. The Epson linux page has several downloads for fedora, ubuntu, LE and an orig file (which I presume is the full sourse whereby one could compile for the native platform. I'm currently on my mac or i would show yo the results of the lsusb command. Important: Epson does not provide support for Linux drivers.
It is important that you manually select your Operating System from above to ensure you are viewing compatible content. Epson provides drivers, just not support for them as noted at: Epson WorkForce DS-510 Attention: Your operating system may not be detected correctly.
